High Protein Bars That PhysicalFitnessRx.com Likes

p90x_pppbars2_lg1-150x150I hate protein bars with a passion!  They’re nasty (don’t taste anything at all like what they’re supposed to taste like….”vanilla?”  Taste more like Pepto Bismol to me), they cost too much, and they give me gas that it even disgusts me!!  The reason for this is that most supplement companies that make high protein bars for some reason love to add a bunch of worthless and unnecessary ingredients to it.  Also, one of the types of sugars that they use for flavoring is very hard for the body to properly digest, which results in you smelling like a walking sewer system.

However, I really like the protein bars that they made to go along with the P90X Dvd workout program.  This is for two reasons.  One, they don’t make feel bloated or smell like manure.  Second, because it helps me get that “meal” that I’m supposed to be getting in every couple of hours.  Third, (ok, I know I said two reason, but anyways…) it was specifically created to fuel your body if you are doing Tony Horton’s P90X, Power 90, or 10 Minute Trainer.  As a matter of fact, this site wrote up a review on it, which you can check out what they had to say for yourself here:  Protein Bars: P90X Peak Performance
