Training & Workouts:

Which program do you recommend if I’m trying to gain lean muscle mass and/or strength?
The good thing about several of Beachbody’s workout programs are that they help you burn off body fat AND build muscle mass or tone up.  Saying that, out of all of them the one we would recommend is P90X, since they will have you using weight resistance and exercising involving plyometrics and calesthenics, which all contribute to the development of muscle.

I’m trying to lose weight and burn body fat.  What DVD set is best for this?
If you’re main focus to shed fat and boost your metabolism, there are a couple that are excellent for this.  You can choose from P90X and Shaun T’s INSANITY if you want the high end/extremely intense workout; if you’d like something a little less intense but very effective you can select between Slim in 6, Turbo Jam Results, ChaLean Extreme, Power 90, or Rockin Body.

If I want to tone up my midsection and bring out my abs, tell me what program is best?
If this is the case, then check out Rev Abs.

I’m a lady looking to tighten up and lift my bottom.  Is there a DVD routine for that?
Yes there is.  Beachbody has created Brazil Butt Lift specifically for this problem.

I don’t have a lot of time on my hands to train, so what can I do?
Tony Horton’s 10 Minute Trainer
is perfect for this since you can get the job done with just doing workouts lasting 10 minutes long!

I suffer from type 2 diabetes, so I don’t think I can do most of the programs.  What should I do?
Actually, there is indeed a training program that was specifically designed for those suffering from this disease.  You can read about it and watch a short video on it here: Project YOU! Type 2 Diabetes program.

Diet & Nutrition:

I’ve seen the videos for a lot of these workouts, but how do I know what to eat?
Every single one of the DVD programs includes the diet and nutrition plan that is to be followed along with the training.  You’ll be told what to eat, how much to eat, and when to eat.  It’s designed to help both men and women, young and old.

I don’t think I can eat some of these foods since I suffer from type 2 diabetes.  How can I get around this?
Project YOU! Type 2 Diabetes program is a diet and training program that was specifically created for those with this medical condition.

Supplements:

What kind of supplements should I use to speed up my body transformation?
It all depends on what program you are following and what your specific goal and needs are.  However, there are some that are actually crucial for all of us, such as meal replacement shakes, protein drinks, multivitamins / minerals, calcium, magnesium, omega 3 essential fatty acids, and a few others.

To see a list of each of these and where you can read a review and description on all of them, including when to use which ones, you can visit our Supplements page .

Becoming a Beachbody Coach:

I was reading a little about having a coach for free and possibly even becoming a Beachbody Coach myself.  Where can I get more information about this?
We have set up a page where it has all the details and even a short video that will explain everything you need to know.  Check it out here:  Beachbody Coaching
